In the continuing effort to revitalize the Richards Building, the exterior color scheme is getting a refresh! A new color palette has been chosen for the Richards Building and we are starting with the walls located along Bassett Highway and the back third of the wall along North Sussex. The rest of the facade along North Sussex and Blackwell will undergo some significant renovation, so painting there will have to wait until the spring.
Updating the building over the years has caused certain sections of the walls to be different colors and in order to unify the building, we chose one color for the brick, Benjamin Moore's Clydesdale Brown.
Below you can see the before and after of what the north wall of the building looked like after the new paint job (and our new windows!)
The image below shows the wall on North Sussex and gives a good before/after perspective. What do you think? Please comment and let us know.
