On the top floor of the Richards Building, a transformation is underway. New windows are giving shape to a view of a bustling downtown, flooding the open space with natural light and hinting at the endless possibilities ahead.

As we continue renovations, we are thinking about the best ways to utilize this open space with one of the best views in town. The bones of this building – the bricks, the beams, the history – are being carefully preserved while the future is being thoughtfully sketched in.
And let’s be honest: everyone loves a room with a view. George Richards sure did – this was the location of his office in the late 19th century! But this isn’t just about scenery. It’s about perspective. It’s about possibility. These windows remind us to keep looking out, looking forward, while staying true to our roots. Up on the third floor, with Blackwell and Sussex Streets stretched out below, we’re framing more than just windows – we’re framing opportunity, creativity, and a new chapter for the Richards Building.
